펜실베니아주가 6월 2일부터 코비드19 영업제한을 대부분 해제하고 본격적인 경제활동을 재개했다.
필라델피아시 보건국은 지난 14개월동안 코로나바이러스 감염확산을 억제하기 위해 노력한 결과 새확진자 수 증가율이 계속 감소하자 지난 5월 21일 내려진 외출자제(Safer-at-Home) 영업제한조치를 당초 계획보다 10일 앞당겨 오는 6월 2(수)일부터 해제한다고 발표했다.
필라보건국은 지난달 28일 실내 마스크착용과 밤11시 이후 식사주문 금지을 제외한 나머지 외출자제 제한조치를 6월 2일부터 끝낸다고 발표했다. 그러나 시당국은 다른 사람들과 함께 있을 때는 마스크를 계속 써줄 것과 백신접종을 하지 않고 있는 사람들의 백신접종을 권장하고 있다.
펜실베이나주정부는 이보다 이틀 앞선 5월 31일 미모리얼데이부터 식당이나 사업체 그리고 모임 등에 내려진 코로나19 제한조치를 해제시켰다. 이날부터 펜실베니아주는 필라델피아시와는 별도로 식당, 소매점, 네일살롱, 체육관 등 모든 사업체에서 코로나바이러스로 인한 모든 영업제한이 해제되고 손님을 제한없이 받을 수 있게 됐다. 그러나 백신접종을 받지 않은 사람들은 마스크를 반드시 착용해야 한다.

다음은 필라델피아시가 지난 5월 21일 내린 외출자제(Safer-at-Home)제한조치로 6월 2일부터 해제되는 내용이다. 필라시당국은 코로나 확진자수를 지켜보면서 오는 6월 12일 나머지 제한조치를 풀 수 있을지 다시 결정할 것이라고 밝혔다.
식당(Restaurants)
- Can still operate at 50 percent maximum capacity, or 75 percent maximum capacity if they can meet enhanced ventilation standards.
- Distance between chair backs will be reduced from six feet to three feet.
- The requirement for alcohol to be served with food will end.
- Mask requirements remain in effect for those not seated or eating.
사무실, 소매점, 볼링장, 박물관, 도서관(Offices, retail stores, bowling alleys, museums, and libraries)
- Will be allowed to operate with no density limits, but mask requirements are still in effect.
