In a move signaling a new era for the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia (AACCGP), David Oh, former Philadelphia City Councilmember, has embarked on a journey to breathe fresh life into the chamber’s programs and events. Oh, the recently appointed President and CEO, brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach to drive impactful change and foster sustained growth within the vibrant Asian American business community.

Oh, an American attorney and politician, made significant contributions during his tenure as a Republican member of the Philadelphia City Council from 2012 to 2023. Notably, he achieved the distinction of being the first Asian American elected to the Philadelphia city council. Additionally, Oh emerged as the Republican nominee in the 2023 Philadelphia mayoral election.

Under Oh’s leadership, the AACCGP is set to witness a series of innovative programs designed to empower businesses and individuals within the community. Monthly Coffee Networking Tour on March 6th will be held at the Sol Levante Bakery. Sol Levante Bakery is a delightful spot located at 1923 Cheltenham Ave, Elkins Park, PA 19027. This charming Korean bakery has been a family business in Elkins Park for 15 years.

Here, you’ll find an array of traditional Korean treats, including soboro, breads, castella, sponge cakes, soft cookies with bean paste, and twisted donuts. Monthly Coffee Networking Tour is being held on every first Wednesday of each month from March-October.(March 6, April 3, May 1, June 5, July 3, Aug 7, Sep 4, Oct 9)
